Metamorphasis

Previously the bed has been consistently representational but new artists are emerging and expressing the value of the bed in different forms. For example Julie Cook has transformed the duvet into a healing dress (Asentamiento Dress), and Mathew Smith displays duvets on wooden structures. The social and psychological aesthetics of the bed are shifting in diverse ways. The paraphernalia becomes paramount.
