Will Ryman’s papier-mâché, ‘The Bed’ (2007) embroidery is different to Emin’s ‘stuff,’ it is the hedonistic clutter of an indulgence culture. It reinforces the concept of everyday artifacts and fits the artificial display of the ‘White Cube’.
